Description

This collection contains surface characterization derived data products that quantify the spectral, albedo, and morphological properties of asteroid Bennu observed by the OSIRIS-REx OCAMS instrument. This includes three complementary datasets: color reflectance products that detail multispectral analysis revealing variable surface colors and their evolution over ~100,000-year timescales from UV brightening to visible wavelength changes; global mosaic products that provide high-resolution equirectangular basemap with 5 cm ground sample distance and ~30 cm spatial accuracy; and albedo products that characterize Bennu's dark surface with median albedo of 0.046, including boulder-related variations and diagonal brightness patterns between hemis... ...Show More
