Stardust Navigation Camera

    Description

    The Stardust Imaging and Navigation Camera (NavCam) is designed to accurately determine the position of Comet P/Wild 2 during the approach and encounter for spacecraft navigation and then to obtain high resolution images of the nucleus. It is also designed to perform navigation and imaging during the asteroid Annefrank encounter.
